DIRECTIONS FOR FINDING US

Our boat, the Shamrock II is docked at Meinkes West, Dock E-90, which is one of the finest marinas on Lake Erie. We are 10 miles east of Toledo,OH just off Route 2 on Lake Erie. We are also close to Ohio Turnpike and other major expressways. More importantly, we are the closest marina to West Sister Island, one of the best fishing grounds in Lake Erie.                                                          

Directions to Meinke Marina West:

Take 80/90 toll road to exit 71 in Ohio. Take I-280 north for seven miles to exit 7, Oregon,OH. ( Route 2 ). At top of exit 7 will be a stop light. Turn right onto Wheeling street and go to next traffic light. St Charles hospital should be on your right side at light. Turn right onto Navarre which is route 2 and go about 10 miles to Teachout road ( D&G ice cream store will be on the corner of Teachout and route 2. Turn left onto Teachout road and follow it until it dead ends at Corduroy road at stop sign. Turn right onto Corduroy and go 3/10th of a mile past white farm house and turn into first drive. Follow it back to Shamrock II Charters dock E-90, look for Shamrock sign.

After labor day we move the boat east to the Huron Boat Basin in Huron, OH. for the fall walleye, jumbo perch, and smallmouth bite.

Directions to Huron Boat Basin Dock:

Take 80/90 toll road to exit # 118. After paying toll, stay to the left and take route 250 South for 8/10th of a mile to first light. Turn left at light onto route 13 north. Go 6.5 miles to the Huron Boat Basin parking lot. Come down the stairs by the Huron Boat basin office, turn right and go to the first set of docks and turn left. We are the 3rd boat on the right hand side, Dock G-74
